Analytical Equipment

The city of Mainz offers excellent research possibilities thanks to its combination of scientific centres offering a unique collection of analytical equipment, making Micro-and Nano-analysis one of the strengths of the Geocycles Research Centre. In addition to the usual laboratory equipment, scientists have access to a large range of appliances for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Geocycles researchers are also involved in the German HALO program. The world’s most advanced research aircraft allows measurements in all climate zones and latitudes, up to the heights of the lower stratosphere. HALO’s equipment opens up completely new opportunities for German atmospheric research and will help to consolidate its leading position worldwide.
