Lecture Series "Earth System Cycles"

During the semester, the lecture series "Earth System Cycles" covers a wide range of topics from the Earth System Sciences. It is aimed primarily at students of the natural sciences, but students of all disciplines all welcome to attend. Its interdisciplinary design enables even non-specialists to follow. Lecture language is English.
The courses are taught by members of the Institute of Geo Sciences, Geography and Physics of the Atmosphere, the ArchaeoScience-Group at Mainz University as well as researchers from the departments of atmospheric chemistry, biogeochemistry and geochemistry of the Max-Planck-Institute for Chemistry. In addition, lectures are held by national and international guest speakers on a regular base.The lectures will be held every Thursday during semester term at 16.15 PM, Lecture Hall N6 at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, JGU.
